Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9 o’clock for Mrs. Cora Marie 
Schendon, 51, wife of Michael Schendon, of 839 West Main Street, who died 
Friday evening from heart trouble with which she had been afflicted for the 
past year.  The services were from SS Peter and Paul church.  Interment was in 
Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Born on a farm near Langston, Mrs. Schendon resided there until her marriage 
in 1900.  For the next 11 years she and Mr. Schendon resided in Greenville, 
then 9 years ago moved to Ionia.  Mrs. Schendon was a member of the Rosary 
society of the SS Peter and Paul church.

Survivors in addition to the husband are three sons, Gerald, of Flint; Elton, 
of Detroit; Kenneth, of Ionia; two brothers, John H. Parker, of Boyne City; 
Ira W. Parker, of Detroit; a sister, Mrs. C. A. McGrew, of Detroit, and the 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Parker of Greenville.
