Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Wed. June 19, 2013

James "Jimmy" Kenneth Scheurer of Ionia, Mich., was born on Sept. 9, 19556 in 
Ionia, and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2013.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father and mother, Kenneth and Jeanette 
(Esterline) Scheurer; and one sister, Carolyn Jean.

Jim is survived by three brothers from Ionia, one sister from Ionia, and one 
sister from Homersville, Ga.; four nieces, four nephews, three great nieces, 
and six great nephews.

Jim was a life long farmer, factory worker, and avid attendant of LeValley 
Methodist Church of Ionia. Jim grew up involved in 4-H programs, was involved 
in FFA, and was an avid bargain hunter. He was a regular at auction and garage 
sales, and enjoyed baking and being with his family.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2013 at LeValley 
United Methodist Church, Ionia with Rev. Ray Sundell presiding. Interment will 
follow at Keefer Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Lehman 
Funeral Homes, 220 Rich St., Ionia.
