Ionia Daily Sentinel, page 3, 17 Apr 1916

The funeral services for Mrs. John Scheurer were held Saturday afternoon at the
residence at 1:30 and at the Evangelical church at 2, Rev. W.K. Spencer
officiating.  Music was furnished by Mesdames Giese and Schilds.  The bearers
were Andrew and Casper Flegler, Frank Mileski and John Utess.  Interment was in
Oak Hill cemetery.  Those from out of the city to attend the funeral were Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Roh, Mrs. Chas. Burkle, Mrs. Marshall Osterhaut, Mrs. Lena
Held, Mrs. Frank Landstra and Miss Emma Burkle of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Thos.
Callahan, of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Scheurer of Detroit.
