Daily Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Nov. 23, 1942

Funeral services for Mrs. John Scheurer, 77, were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 
o'clock at the Myers funeral home. Rev. George Woolcock of the First Baptist church

officiated and burial was in Highland Park cemetery.

Pallbearers were four nephews, Bert Scheurer and Fred Scheurer of Ionia, George B. 
Walt and Marley Knott of Carson City. The Dorcas society, the CCW class and the Ella

Hutchins circle of the First Baptist church attended the services in a body.

Those who attended from away were Mrs. Emma Phillips of Detroit, Mrs. Oscar Johnson

and William Rittinger of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. George Walt and Mr. and Mrs. 
Marley Knott and Mrs. Mary Moench of Carson City, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Scheurer, and 
Mr. and Mrs. C.G. McMeen of Detroit.
