The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, June 20, 1941


Otto A. Scheurer, 68, died Monday June 16 at his home, 613 Goshen avenue, 
Visalia, California.  

Otto Scheurer was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Scheurer of Ionia and received 
his early schooling here.  For a number of years he was employed by the city 
as the driver of its fire team, when Ionia’s fire department consisted of 
horse-drawn fire equipment.

He is survived by his wife, his brother, William, now a resident of Visalia, 
and a sister, Anna Scheurer, of Ionia.
