NANCY SCHIELKE, 58
Nancy Jane Schielke, 58, of Saranac, passed away Nov. 12, 2017. She was born 
on March 29, 1959, in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Jerry and Lois (Waltz) 
Ary.

Nancy married Al Schielke on Aug. 3, 1985, in Grand Rapids.

She was a special education teacher for Lansing School District for 30 years. 
Nancy was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic church and was very involved in 
functions there. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, an avid 
bowler and enjoyed the casino.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Al Schielke Jr. of 
Saranac; mother, Lois Ary of Grand Rapids; sibling, Mary (Dennis) Heuschele 
of Hopkins, Robert (Cathy) Ary of Belmont, Janet (Jeffrey) Leonard of 
Rockford, Patrick (Peggy) Ary of Jenison, Michael (Sharon) Ary of Rockford; 
sister-in-law, Joann (Greg) Garavaglia of Warren; aunt, Judith (Herb) Connor; 
many special nieces, nephews and cousins and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Jerry and mother and father-in-law,
Alexander and Virginia Schielke.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's 
Catholic Church with Father Aaron Ferris officiating.

Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice, American 
Cancer or Wounded Warriors. Arrangements made by lake funeral Home of
