Born September 24, 1958 to Alexander E.& Virginia (Aiello)Schielke in Detroit MI. Al leaves cherished memories in the hearts of many, especially his sister Joann & brother-in-law Greg Garavaglia, niece Jennifer (Andrew) Holt along with their children, Austin & McKenna & niece Michelle (Daniel Bonilla)Garavaglia. He will be missed by his beloved Aunt, close cousins & dear friends. Al spent his early years in Warren,Michigan & later moved to Grand Rapids,MI where he met Nancy (Ary) Schielke, who he married in 1985 & shared 35 years together until her passing in November 2017. Al & Nancy settled in Saranac, MI, where they built a life filled with community & friendships. Al enjoyed trips to Las Vegan, watching Races at Michigan International Speedway and celebrating Holidays with close-knit family. He was known for his spirited debates and his "Top of the Line Outfits." Al worked for General Motors for 30 years on the Assembly line where he earned the nickname "Motor." He enjoyed bow & arrow hunting & earned a large deer that he displayed in his home. Al was a member of St.Anthony's Catholic Church, where he volunteered for church events, lent Fish Fry and a member of Knight of Columbus. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday,June 27th 2024 at St.Anthony's Church in Saranac, MI. Visitation one hour prior to service, followed with a light lunch in Al's honor.
