Ionia Sentinel Standard, 21 May 1973

Word has been received in Ionia of the death of a former resident, Mrs. Austa 
Lowell Schiewe, 91, who died unexpectedly in her sleep Saturday.  She lived at 
Grove City, Pa.

While in Ionia she made her home with her son, Lowell Schiewe, who died several 
years ago.  She was an active member of Daughters of American Revolution, Ionia 
Garden club, and attended First Presbyterian church of Ionia.

Surviving are a son, Tom Schiewe of Pennsylvania and a daughter, Mrs. Ann 
Brenen of Ohio; three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at Titusville, Pa., Tuesday with burial at 
the Titusville cemetery.
