Henry Schild died at the home at 312 King street last night after a lingering 
illness, at the age of 61 years. He had lived in Ionia 50 years and was well 
known as a grower of small fruits, especially fine strawberries. He leaves to 
survive him, his wife and a son, Carl, who lives in Muskegon. He is also survived 
by three brothers, Peter of Ionia, Frank of Grand Rapids and Charles of 
Cleveland, also a sister, Mrs. Margaret Miller. The funeral will be held Thursday 
at the home at 2:30 and interment will be in Highland Park. The Oddfellows will 
attend in a body.
