Sentinel Standard – 25 April 1922
The remains of Mrs. Nellie Schippers, who died in Detroit Friday, arrived at 
Muir on the noon train Monday and funeral services were held at the M. E. 
church in Lyons the same day.  Miss Louise Adams, deaconess of a Presbyterian 
church in Detroit, accompanied the remains here.  Mrs. Schippers will be 
better known to the Sentinel Standard readers as Miss Nellie Boyden, formerly 
of Muir and Lyons.  She was a graduate of the Muir high school.  Her parents 
were Daniel and Ida Boyden, both deceased.  A daughter, Miss Ida Schippers, 
survives.
