Nothing was left undone to cure this lovely little girl, but from the first she seemed to fail to respond to any treatment. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the home of her parents at 1:30, and from the St. John’s Lutheran church at 2 o’clock. The interment will be in the Highland Park cemetery. Rev. B. H. Succop will be in charge. Marie was born in Ionia 12 years ago last October, and had lived her brief life in this city. She completed the first seven grades in the Lutheran school, and then entered the junior high. Very intelligent, she did excellent work in school, and possessing one of the sweetest dispositions, she readily added a bevy of friends to those whom she acquired while passing through the first seven grades of her school life. Besides her parents, she leaves four sisters, Mrs. Edward…(illegible)….; Beulah Ione, and Velma,…(remainder is illegible).
