Ionia Daily Sentinel, 3 Oct 1912

Mrs. Johanna Schipper, aged 61 years, residing at 345 North Jefferson street,
died this morning at her home.  Mrs. Schipper was well known in Ionia and leaves
a large family and many friends.  The funeral will be attended Saturday
afternoon at 1:30 from the house and at 2 o’clock from the German Lutheran
church, Rev. B. H. Succop officiating.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
