Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, April 23, 1991

IONIA- Ione P. Schipper, 80, of Ionia died Monday, at the Ionia County Memorial 
Hospital.

She was born the daughter of Paul and Emma Streicher Schipper on March 20, 1911, 
in Ionia.

She worked for 40 years at Woolworths, as an office manager.

She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church and belonged to the 
Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

She is survived by two sisters, Beulah Schipper and Velma Hausserman, both of 
Ionia, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church 
in Ionia, with the Rev. Theodore Voll officiating.

Burial will bein the Highland Park Cemetery.

The family will be at the Cook Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. 
and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial 
Fund, in care of the funeral home.
