Lyons Herald, 28 Jan 1909

Mrs. Eliza Schlienz was born April 15, 1943, at Lyons, New York; passed away Jan. 
21, 1909.  She came to Michigan in 1855 and was married to Andrew Schlienz in 
1857.  She was the mother of five children, viz: Lucinda, Edelbert, Charlie, 
Eurila and Doris.  The only survivors are husband and one son, Doris, of Walloon 
Lake.  She was a faithful wife and mother and although she had been ailing for 
years she performed her duties and was cheerful to the last.
