LIANE F. SCHLETTER
Liane F. Schletter, 89, of Belding, passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 8, 2016 
at Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids. Liane was born on March 28, 
1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Willy and Frieda (Richter) 
Schletter. Liane graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1944 and 
later worked 46 years in the office at Extruded Metals, retiring in 1990. She 
was a longtime member of the First congregational Church, Belding whee she had 
served as the youth choir director, was a member of the Bell choir and the Kate 
Shannon Women's Fellowship. Liane was a past member of the Business and 
Professional Women of Belding, the Belding Historical Society and the ladies 
Literary Club. She was preceded in death by her parents. Liane is loved and 
survived by her cousins, church family and friends in Belding. 

Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at First congregational 
Church, Belding with Pastor Paul Hulford officiating. Visitation will be one 
hour before the service at church. Interment will be in River Ridge cemetery, 
Belding. Memorials may be given to the first Congregational Church. Funeral care 
has been entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Messages of
