The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, September 12, 1945

Funeral services for Joseph Schlosser, 41, who was killed Saturday afternoon 
when he fell into a three-bottom plow behind the tractor he was driving, were 
held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Boynton funeral home with the 
Rev. H. S. Ellis of Belding officiating.  Interment was at Highland Park 
mausoleum.

Flowers were in charge of Mrs. Don Badder, Mrs. Cora Jane Vistervelt, Miss 
Lois Brickley and Mrs. Marion Sage.  Bearers were Lester Wolverton, W. 
Longanbach, Julius Thelen, Alfred Thelen, Leo Costello and Kenneth Scheurer.

Relatives from away were Mrs. D. S. Antcliff, Mr. and Mrs. George Antcliff and 
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Detmers of Belding.
