Herman Schlosser died at his home in Ionia Thursday at the age of 63.  He was 
for many years a resident of Orange township, his father having owned what is 
known as the John Schlosser farm.  He married Miss Edna Brand in 1891 and she 
died three years later.  His second wife, who survives him, was Margaret E. 
Schlosser.

While a resident of Orange Mr. Schlosser was elected township clerk.  He moved 
to Ionia about 25 years ago and during most of that time was employed in the 
Pere Marquette shops.  During the last year he had a position at the Michigan 
reformatory.  A son, Clair, lives at Battle Creek.
