Schlosser, 67, former Ionia man who has made his home in Grand Rapids during the past years. Schlosser died of a heart attack Friday morning shortly after he had gotten up and shut off his alarm clock. While in Ionia he was employed at the Pere Marquette car shops and was later employed in Grand Rapids by the same company as a steam pipe fitter. He made his home at 1008 Sheridan ave., S.W. He was the last surviving member of a family of four. Two brothers and a sister, John H. Schlosser, Herman Schlosser and Mrs. Margaret Romile, all of Ionia, preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Bessie M. Schlosser, a daughter, Miss Helen Schlosser; two sons, Joseph Jr., and Bernard. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph’s church in Grand Rapids. Interment will be at Woodlawn cemetery.
