Born in Orange township, Ionia county, October 6, 1902, he was the son of John H. and Bertha Antcliff Schlosser. Mr. Schlosser attended Steele school and lived his entire life in Ionia county. He was a member of American Legion post of Ionia and SS Peter and Paul church. Much of his time was spent in Orange township farming until 1942 when he served in World War II in the United States air force, where his time was spent mostly in California. Following his discharge in 1943, Mr. Schlosser worked for the City of Ionia for a short time and then went to work for the Ionia County Road Commission until retirement in 1962. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Scheurer of Ionia, Mrs. Marguerite Whipple of Greenville and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Boynton funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday. Entombment will be in Highland Park mausoleum.
