Sentinel-Std. - Monday, Feb. 23, 1948

Herman Schlosser, 40, of Orange township died at Blodgett hospital Saturday, 
February 21, at 1 p.m. after being a patient there since February 10.

He was born in Orange April 29, 1907, the son of Bertha and John Schlosser. He 
has lived on his Orange township farm since 1934. At one time he attended Steele 
school.

Surviving him are his mother, Mrs. Bertha Schlosser of 230 Lafayette street; his 
father, John Schlosser of Orange, one brother, Thomas of Ionia; two sisters, 
Mrs. Harold Scheurer of Orange and Ms. Carl Miller of Lowell. 

Funeral services will be held from Boynton's funeral home Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. 
with the Rev. Wayne Davis officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park 
cemetery.
