Otto F. Schmidt, Woodland, Dies

Otto Fred Schmidt, 65 of route one, Woodland, passed away Saturday night at the 
Veterans hospital, Ann Arbor. He came here from Lansing 18 years ago and retired 
as an employee of the Reo Mfg. Company, 12 years ago.

A native of Lansing, he was the son of August and Augusta Schmidt.

Surviving are his wife, Lydia; one brother, Frank of Lansing, and a sister, Mrs. 
Minnie Stang of St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Pickens funeral chapel 
with burial in the Mt. Hope cemetery, Lansing. Rev. Alva Dexter officiated.
