The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, June 1, 1933


Steven J. Schmidt died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Emil Moss, Ionia 
township, Wednesday evening about 6 o’clock.  He was 60 years of age.

He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Cecil Bell, Nebraska; one son, Leo 
Schmidt, Nebraska; two sisters, Mrs. Emil Moss and Mrs. George Reglin, 
Portland, and one brother, Matt Schmidt, of Palo.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock at the SS. Peter 
and Paul church.  Place of interment has not been decided.
