Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 16 Feb 1954

Rosary for Robert Schnabel, 83, who died Thursday in Ionia County Memorial
Hospital was said Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the Myers funeral home and was followed
by Requiem High Mass at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church.  The Rev. Fr. Johns
S. Fons sang the mass.  

Burial was at Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Bearers were Martin, John, Edgar, Edward and
Bernard Sarlouis and Howard Bozung.

Attending from out of town: Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sarlouis of Akron, O.; Mrs.
Richard Hester and Jean, Rita and Richard Hester of Joliet, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs.
A.P. Schwenter, Mrs. Michael Keegan, Dr. and Mrs. E.H. Quigby, Miss La Vora
Conklin and Miss Mollie Bozung of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Charley Nelson of Carson
City; Henry, Gene and Joan Bozung and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Bozung of Hubbardston;
Edgar, Marilyn and Gary Sarlouis of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sarlouis and
family, Mrs. Rose Tasker and Mrs. Marshall Tasker of Lake Odessa; and Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Schnabel of Portland.

The deceased is survived by his wife, a son, a daughter, a niece and a
granddaughter.  Another daughter, Rita, died in 1934.
