PORTLAND- Rosaline A. Schneider, 77, of 345 Jefferson Street, Pewamo, died Nov. 
9 in Ionia Manor.

Born Jan. 8, 1910, in Westphalia, she was the daughter of Frank and Mary Thelen 
Lenneman. She was married to Andrew Schneider, May 16, 1939. He died in 1978.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, Pewamo and the Altar Society of the 
church.

She is survived by five sons, Francis of Bath, John and Andrew Jr. of DeWitt, 
Larry of Lansing, Thomas of Stanton; 17 grandchildren; a brother, Louis of 
Pewamo; five sisters, Ann Huhn of Pewamo, Odelia Feldpausch, Martha Fox and 
Mary Smith, all of Fowler and Sister Regina of Wilmette, Ill. 

Rosary services were held at 3 and 8 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Chapel, 
Westphalia.

Funeral mass was held Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Church, Pewamo, the 
Rev. Isidoro Gargantiel officiating.

Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, with Mark, John Jr., Larry Jr., Thomas 
Jr., James and Jeffrey Schneider serving as pallbearers.

Arrangements were made by the Neller Funeral Home of Portland.
