The Ionia Sentinel, Friday, November 25, 1927
There were a large number of friends at the funeral services held for John 
Schneider at the Lutheran church Thursday at 2 o’clock.  These were conducted 
by his pastor, Rev. B. G. Succop, and the burial took place in Highland Park 
cemetery.  

The bearers included Herman Pinnow, August Knickrehm, Stephen Kowatch, William 
Holtz Jr., Alvin Winges, and Peter Diehm.  The beautiful floral offerings were 
in charge of Mrs. Albert Winges and Mrs. Minnie Karnatz.
