Ionia Sentinel - 25 February 1963
Mrs. Minnie O. Schnell, 80, of 438 1/2 West Main Street, died Monday morning at 
7:30 at Ionia County Memorial hospital where she had been confined the past 
three weeks  She had been in ill health five years.

Born in Rochester N.Y., April 26, 1882, the daughter of Reinhold and Bertha 
Redemsky, she came to Ionia at an early age.  In 1903 she was married to 
Charles Schnell who preceded her in death in 1940.  Mrs. Schnell was a member 
of St. Johns Lutheran church.

Surviving are two sons, Gerald Schnell of Owosso and Reinhold of Jackson; four 
grandchildren; two brothers, William Redemsky of Ionia and Fred Redemsky of 
Florida; and one sister, Mrs. Lee Alvord of San Diego, Calif.

Pastor Theodore Timler of St. Johns Lutheran Church will conduct funeral 
services at Boynton funeral home Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial will 
be at Highland Park cemetery.
