Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Tammy Jo Schnicke, age 39, of Woodard Lake, rural Orleans, passed away early 
Tuesday morning, Dec. 17, 2002 at Ionia County Memorial Hospital, Ionia, after 
a short but courageous battle with cancer.
The daughter of David and Clara Mae (Hubbard) Clements, she was born May 23, 
1963 in Bay City.  On Oct. 15, 1984, in Ronald Township, she married Ronnie Lee 
Schnicke.

Tammy worked at Clothing Care Center in Ionia and also operated R&T Auction 
Service with her family.  She enjoyed stock car racing, collecting thimbles, 
wind chimes, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving is her husband of more than 18 years, Ronnie Schnicke; their 
children, Ron Schnicke, and his fiancé Cassie Parks, of Belding, Brandy 
Schnicke, and her fiancé Mario Ledesma, and Mamie Schnicke, all at home; a 
grandson, Mario Blake Ledesma; her mother, Clara Mae Clements of Belding; her 
father, David Clements of Crystal; four brothers and three sisters; her parents-
in-law, LeRoy and Mamie Schnicke; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dale and 
Debbie Schnicke of Greenville; several nieces and nephews; and many special 
friends.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2002 at Shiloh 
Community Church, with Rev. Kenneth Harger, Pastor of Shiloh Community Church, 
officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodard Lake Cemetery.  Envelopes for 
memorial contributions are available at the Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral 
Home, Greenville, where the family will receive relatives and friends on 
Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
