Ronnie Lee Schnicke, age 49, of Woodard Lake passed away unexpectedly on 
Sunday morning, Jan. 6, 2008 at Carson City Hospital after a brief illness.

The son of LeRoy and Mamie (Bogert) Schnicke, he was born on March 11, 1958 in 
Ionia.  A graduate of Ionia High School, Ronnie had worked at Granco-Clark in 
Belding for 13 years.  With his family, Ronnie operated R&T Auction Service, 
in addition to working at Ravell's Orchards in Fenwick and being a volunteer 
firefighter with the Ronald Township Fire Department for almost 32 years.  An 
avid stock car racing fan, Ronnie co-owned cars that he raced at Ionia and 
Crystal.  A skilled mechanic, he also enjoyed tractors, steam engines, fire 
trucks and hunting.

On Oct. 15, 1984, he married the former Tammy Jo Clements. She preceded him in 
death on Dec. 17, 2002.  His second wife survives as well as his son and two 
daughters, his parents and a brother.

Funeral services held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 10, 2008 at Shiloh Community 
Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  Burial will follow at Woodard Lake 
Cemetery.  Arrangements by Brown-Teme & Christiansen Funeral Home in Greenville
