Schnicke, 83, of Ronald township died at his home Friday morning at 3:50 after being ill for two weeks. Mr. Schnicke was born in Germany, April 9, 1872, the son of Karl and Johanna Schnicke and came to this country with his parents at the age of 11. He had lived in the present home for over 50 years. He was married to Lena M. Craft of Orleans, April 12, 1916. Besides his wife, Lena, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Donald Comer of Fenwick and Mrs. Russell Martin of Lansing; two sons, Leroy, at home and Karl, of Greenville; eight grandchildren and one brother, Fred, of Bingen, Wash. Funeral services will be conducted at the Boynton funeral home Monday afternoon at two o’clock. the Rev. Eric Cash will officiate and interment will be at Woodard Lake cemetery. ---- Funeral services were conducted for Otto K. Schnicke at Boynton’s funeral home Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Eric Cash officiated and interment was at Woodard lake cemetery. Pallbearers were Gerald Smith, Orie Tingley, Albert Schmidt, Russell Patrick, Smith Rowley and Russell Comer. Those attending from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Martin, Karen and Pamela, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fisher and Mr. and Mrs. Grover Youngs of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Annis, Mrs. Bertha Youngs, Otto Schnicke and Mrs. Theodore Schnicke of Amble; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Schnicke, Richard, Paul, Judy and David of Greenville; Mr. and Mrs. Pete Teows, Mrs. Elizabeth Mininger, Mrs. Lillian Littweiler, Mrs. Mary Larson and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Stoner of Ithaca; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kunde, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zink and Mrs. Jessie Schnicke of Pierson; Mr. and Mrs. Newell Littweiler of Carson City; Alfred Peters of North Star; Mr. and Mrs. John Peters of Muskegon and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Plews and Mrs. Pearl Jack of Grand Rapids.
