Ionia Sentinel Standard-March 1964

MRS. ETHEL SCHOLTENS
Mrs. William Scholtens, 75, pf route two, Newaygo, died March 9 at Lakeland, 
Fla., where she was spending the winter months. She was ill about a month.

She was born May 8, 1888 in Indiana.

Surviving are her husband, William; two daughters, Hazel Kienitz of Grand 
Rapids, Mrs. Evelyn Dion of Kalamazoo; four sons, Robert and George of Ionia, 
Ross Scholtens of Chelsea and John of Jackson; 11 grandchildren, and three 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 o'clock ;Saturday afternoon at Piesehel funeral 
home in Newaygo. The Rev. Walter Scott will officiate and burial will be at 
Oak Grove cemetery at Croton.
