PORTLAND- Carol Jean Schrauben, age 53, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and 
daughter, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2012. Carol was a 
member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Portland, and enjoyed being a 
grandmother and working on various crafts. She was preceded in death by her 
father-in-law, Bill Schrauben; sister-in-law, Denise Schrauben, grandparents, 
Wayne and Roselyn Coon, and Riley and Anis Sandborn. 

Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Dave; children, Kristin (Jesse) Weller, 
Bradley Schrauben and Kimberly Schruaben; grandchildren, Kayla, Avery, and Max 
Weller; parents, Kendall and Barbara (Coon) Sandborn; siblings, Chris (Kaye) 
Sandborn, Denise (Mike) Ouendag, Joel (Robyn) Sandborn, Scott (Dixie) Sandborn 
and Heidi (Phil) May; mother-in-law, Marie Schrauben; several brothers and 
sisters-in-laws; many nieces and nephews.

The Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012. at 
St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland, with Rev. Larry King presiding. The 
family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Lehman Funeral 
Homes, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. A Rosary will be prayed at 4 p.m. on
