Jan. 3, 1967 DAVID N. SCHRAUBEN David N. Schrauben, 31, a former resident of Ionia, died unexpectedly January 2 in Las Vegas, Nev., where he has resided for the past three years. Mr. Schrauben was born May 21, 1935 in Ionia and was the son of Christopher and Bernita Pung Schrauben. He graduated from SS. Peter and Paul Academy and served in the United Staes Air Force. He also was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Oscar Cook of Pewamo; four brothers, Norbert Schrauben of Greenville, Maurice Schrauben of Orleans, Alvin Schrauben of Flint and Paul Schrauben of Jackson; five sisters, Mrs. Donald H. Joy of Sterling, Ill., Mrs. Edward Gray of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Richard Hofmann of Detroit, Mrs.Patrick Lawless of Petoskey and Mrs. Gayle Miller of Grand Ledge. His father preceded him in death in 1946. Arrangements are being made by Myers funeral home. Additional Comments: Mt.
