Excerpts from Obituary:
NANCY L. SCHRAUBEN of Portland
Died Sunday January 6, 2019-age 70 
Born February 27, 1948 to Louis and Esther (Nurenberg) Bedenbender.
Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Retired from MESSA after 30 years of service.
Nancy played softball, tended to her wildflowers, watching humming birds, 
collecting U.S. State quarters and singing Karaoke.
Preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Sylvester Thelen, father & 
mother-in-law, Isadore & Esther Schrauben and a brother-in-law, Jon Arendsen.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Gary "Dewey" Schrauben; daughter, son, 
twin granddaughters, brother, 6 sisters, step-sister, 5 step-brothers, in-
laws, many nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by rev. Mike Alber Friday, 
January 11, 2019 at 11:00 am. at St Patrick Catholic Church, Portland.
Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. January 10, at Lehman Funeral Home, 
Portland & at the church on Friday from 10:00 am. until the Mass.
Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Memorials can be made to McLaren Hospice or st. Patrick Athletic Association.
