Ramona M. Schrauben, 74, of Gowen formerly of Portland, passed away Dec. 28.

She was born in Dearborn Feb. 28, 1929 the daughter of Alphonse and Edna 
(Packwood) Duguay. Before moving to Gowen, Mrs. Schrauben was a very active 
member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She loved to cook 
and have family parties.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Schrauben.

Surviving are her sons, James (Nancy) Schrauben of Portland, Tony (Florence) 
Schrauben of Holt, Russell (Lori) Schrauben of Holt, and Nicholas (Cathy) 
Schrauben of Portland; daughters, Deborah (Fred) Reahm of Duluth, Ga., Donalyn 
(Brent) Jackson of Belmont, Calif., Denise Glenn (Ries of Portland, and Therese 
(Ted) Bush of Gowen; 20 grandchildren; sister, Doreen Lier of East Detroit; 
brother, Joseph "Wil" (Barb) Duguay of St. Clair Shores; several nieces, 
nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law.

The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by the Rev. F. Steve Crone Dec. 31 
at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Portland with Rite of Committal following at 
Portland Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home,
