Lake Odessa – Richard (Dick) I. Schray, 74, of Emerson Street passed away 
Wednesday, March 2, 1994 at his residence.  He was born on May 4, 1919 in Lake 
Odessa and attended Lake Odessa Schools.  He married Lucille Reese on January 
5, 1945 in Lake Odessa.  Mr. Schray was employed by Riverside Sand and Gravel 
Company in Grand Rapids and by Lee Hazel Construction Company.  He served in 
the United States Army during World War II and was a member of the D.A.V. in 
Ionia.

Surviving Mr. Schray are his wife Lucille; two sons, Larry Schray of Lake 
Odessa, and Jerry Schray of Lake Odessa; one daughter, Sherry Clem of Lake 
Odessa; four grandchildren; two sisters, Arlene Kruger and Wanita Kruger both 
of woodland.  He was preceded in death by one half brother and two half 
sisters.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 4, 1994 at the Koops Funeral Chapel 
in Lake Odessa with Reverend J.D. Saunders officiating.  Interment at Lakeside 
Cemetery.
