Schreiner, 72, died Monday evening at the Ionia Manor following a long illness. She was born June 1, 1903, the daughter of Franklin and Cora Oberlay. She attended Lansing public schools and was married to Leonard Green in 1924. She was later married to Ronald Schreiner in 1932, and he passed away in 1956. She lived at her home on Kimble road, Lyons, for the last 24 years, moving from Grand Ledge and was a member of Lyons Baptist church. Mrs. Schreiner is survived by three sons, William of Texas, James of Lake Odessa, and Robert of Muir; a son, Reid, preceded her in death. She is also survived by five daughters: Mrs. Joyce Burnham of Eagle, Mrs. Edith Meis of Lyons, Mrs. Evelyn Kirchen of Grand Ledge, Mrs. Connie Hayes of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. Cora Smith of Perry; one sister, Mrs. Lila Hayes of Okemos, and a half sister, Mrs. Bertha Peacock of Fruitport; 36 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Services will be Thursday, 2 p.m. at Lyons Baptist church, with Rev. Richard Harrison officiating. Burial will be at Lyons cemetery. Until noon Thursday, she is at the Hull Memorial chapel in Muir.
