The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 5, 1984


Henry F. Schreiner, 61, of 319 W. Main St., Stanton, died Saturday.  He was 
born Oct. 4, 1922 in Grand Ledge, the son of William and Mary Schreiner.  He 
was a veteran of World War II and  along-time resident in the Sheridan-Stanton 
area.  

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former June McQueen, on Aug. 7, 1973.

Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Craig (Starr) Gilson of Sheridan; Mrs. Jerry 
(Susan) Wilson of Orlando, Fla.; Mrs. Ray (Becky) Buck of Stanton; Mrs. Joe 
(Betsy) Reed of Sheridan; and Mrs. Mike (Mary) Austin of Stanton.; three sons: 
Henry R. of Stanton; Robert of Stanton; and Michael of Reno, Nev.; 10 
grandchildren; one brother and seven sisters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. from Stebbins and Simpson Funeral 
Home, Sheridan, with the Rev. Richard Dickens of Ionia officiating.  Burial 
will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Vickeryville.  The family will be at the 
funeral home Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral services.
