Ionia Standard, 8 Oct 1915

Adam D. Schreiner of Prairie Creek, a veteran of the Ohio artillery, died Sunday
at Traverse City at the age of 70 years.  The body was brought here Tuesday for
burial in Highland Park.  The funeral will be held at the home at Prairie Creek
on Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock.  Mr. Schreiner had lived here for about
20 years.  He leaves four children: Charles of this city, Robert of Canton, O.,
William of this city and Salome of Kansas.  There are also 20 grandchildren, and
other relatives.  His home in Ohio before coming here was in Tuscarawa county.
