The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, March 3, 1972
Word was received in Ionia Friday of the death of Mrs. Blanchie A. Schreiner, 
65, of 424 Meadow Lane, Rochester, February 28.  Mrs. Schreiner had lived in 
Rochester for three years and before that in Ionia.  She died at Crittenton 
hospital at Rochester.  She was married to Elmer R. Schreiner, who died in 
1969.  Mrs. Schreiner had been employed in Ionia many years ago by A.C. 
Sparkplug company.  

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paul Dorey of Rochester and Mrs. Henry 
Pierce of Seattle, Washington, and a sister, Mrs. Clive Jennings of Hillman; 
and one grandchild.

Funeral services were at St. Paul’s United Methodist church Thursday morning 
with Rev. A. P. Rickard officiating.  Burial was at Balcom cemetery in Ionia 
with graveside services at 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
