She was born on December 27, 1908 in Alto, the daughter of Ferdinand and Anna Wittenbach Wingeier. She attended Logan Rural School. She married Elmer Schrenk on January 1, 1936 in Ato. She and her husband lived and farmed in the Alto and Lake Odessa area most of their life. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Alto. Mrs. Schrenk is survived by her children, Richard(Janice)Schrenk of New Haven,Indiana, Thomas (Joan) Schrenk of Athens,Alabama,Duane(Cathie)Schrenk of Lake Odessa and Linda Mae Koehl(Dana)Jones of Grand Rapids; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Clara Kimble of East Jordan, Hulda Feichter of Bluffton, Indiana; Margaret and Christine Weigeier of Alto; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services wil be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 11, 1997 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Wingeier Rd.,Alto. Carroll Gerber,Aaron Steffen, Bill Gerst and Howard Plattner officiating.Burial will take place at Bowne Mennonite Cemetery. Arrangements were ;made by Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa.
