Schriner, 73, died suddenly Friday morning at 10:45 o’clock at her home in Prairie Creek following an illness of five days. She was born August 31, 1869 in Bolivar, O. She came to Ionia in 1880. She had lived in her present home for the past 43 years. November 5, 1891 she was married to Charles Schriner. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last November. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Minnie Howard club. She was an active worker in the Women of Moose organization. Besides her husband, Charles, she is survived by five children, Mrs. Eva Jackson of Lansing, Mrs. Jay Hamblin of Cedar Springs, Mrs. Dorothy Winwright of Fowler, Adam Schriner and Elmer Schriner of Detroit; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be completed on the arrival of the sons from Detroit.
