Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Nov. 11, 1940

Frank Schroeder, 51, died Sunday evening at his home in Detroit, 2026 Pilgrim 
avenue, following several years of illness from a heart disease. He was born in 
Ionia county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schroeder, Sr. and he spent his 
boyhood says in this community. After his marriage in 1912 to Louise Possehn of 
Odessa township, he moved to Detroit to make his home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon from the Haley funeral home 
on Hamilton street, in Detroit. Interment will be at Rose Land on Woodward 
Avenue. 

Surviving are the wife, Louise; four children, Francis Raymond, Leonard and 
Harvey; his mother, Mrs. Marie Schroeder of Ionia; two sisters, Mrs. Rawling 
Youngs of Orleans, and Mrs. William Possehn of Berlin township; six brothers, 
Reinhold and William of Ionia; Albert and Herman of Detroit and Paul and Lee of 
Jackson. Another brother, Rudolph, died in August of this year.
