The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, December 19, 1955
Prayer services for Reinhart L. Schroeder were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 
at Phelps funeral chapel followed by funeral services at 2 o’clock at St. 
John’s Lutheran church with the Rev. Eric Cash officiating.  Interment was at 
Balcom cemetery.  

Pallbearers were Clifford Haslick, Arthur Rubach, Herbert Rubach, Theodore 
Succop, Fred Meuller and Edward Ruehs.

Those who attended the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Demond, 
Douglas and Darlene of Portland Huron, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Walther and Ann and 
Marie Walther of Saginaw; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schroeder, Mr. and Mrs. Henry 
Smalenberg and Mrs. Joseph Cottone of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Schroeder and 
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schroeder of Jackson; Mrs. Louise Schroeder of Pontiac, Mr. 
and Mrs. Donald Dunmore of Adrian, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Bielow and Miss Johanna 
Bielow of Grand Rapids.
