Lake Odessa Wave Thursday October 7, 1954

LYDIE SCHULER DIED SATURDAY
Mrs. Lydia Eckardt Schuler, 83, passed away Saturday afternoon at her farm home 
east of town after a long illness.


She was a life long resident of Woodland township, a member of the Woodland 
Evangelican United Brethren Church, W.C.T.U. and a charter member of the 
W.S.W.S.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs.Frieda Cooke, who resided with her mother, nieces 
and nephews. her husband Samuel passed away in 1940.

She was taken to the residence. Sundan noon from the Pickens Funeral Chapel, 
where she reposted until Tuesday when taken to the church where funeral services 
were held at 2pm. Burial in Lakeside cemetery with Rev. A.D. Burch officiating.
