Deceased was born in Ann Arbor in 1854 and had lived all of his life in Central Michigan. He was married in Lansing and lived there for a number of years. About ten years ago he moved to Muir which was his home at the time of his death. He was a deacon in the Muir Presbyterian church. Remaining relatives are his son, C.T. Shultz of Mason and daughter, Mrs. Edward Kissenger of St. Paul, Minnesota. He also leaves three brothers, Dr. Samuel Shultz of Coldwater: Fred Shultz of Chicago and Frank Shultz of Lansing. Rev. Frank Walkup will conduct the funeral services from the Shultz home Saturday afternoon at one o'clock. ____________________________________ Tuesday, May 23, 1933 Charles Schultz Funeral services for C.H. Schultz were conducted at the home in Muir Saturday afternoon. Rev. Frank Walkup, in charge. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery, Lansing. Relatives and friends from away attending were: Dr. Samuel Schultz and family of Coldwater; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schultz, Chicago; Frank Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. R. Chase, Lansing: Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Smith, Mrs. Marion McEdwards, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gleason, Hartford: Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gering, of Detroit: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tidy, George Kreighbaum, Thomas, Jeff, Charles, Fenn, Maurice Barber, and Mr. and Mrs. William Cook of Matherton. The many floral tributes attested to the love and esteem of many friends and relatives. ____________________________________________________ Sentinel-Std. - Friday, May 19, 1933 Charles Schultz Charles Schultz, who would have been 79 years of age next month, died Thursday afternoon at his home in Muir, where he had resided for the past 10 years. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the home with Rev. Frank Walkup in charge. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope cemetery - Lansing.
