The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 24, 1922

Mrs. Martin Schumacher died at her home on Hackett street after a long 
illness.  Mr. Schumacher, who fell on the ice some time ago, is lying 
bedridden at the home and does not improve.  Three sons survive the mother, 
Carl of Toledo, Albert of Ionia, and William of Milwaukee.  Funeral 
announcement will be made later.
