Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 21 Sep 1959

Mrs. Oscar Schumann, 78, 434 Allen street, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday at Ionia
County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient the past five days.  She
was born in Germany September 25, 1880, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William
Lemmin.  She was married in 1908 in Germany to Frank Weber, and came to Ionia in
1910.  Mr. Weber died in 1931.  July 27, 1935, she was married to Oscar
Schumann.  Mrs. Schumann was a member of the St. Johns Lutheran church.

She is survived by her husband, Oscar; a brother, William Lemmin of Ronald
township; six nephews; one niece; a step-son, Oscar Schumann Jr. of Pontiac and
one step-daughter Mrs. Jacques Knellwof in France.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Boynton funeral
home with the Rev. Theodore Timler officiating.  Interment will be at Highland
Park cemetery.
