Sentinel-Std. - Friday, March 11, 1960

Albert Schurr, 82, 734 West Lincoln avenue, died Thursday evening at 
Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids where he had been a patient 10 days.

He was born in Germany May 13, 1877. His father died when he was a small child 
and his mother later married Martin Schumacher. 

Mr. Schurr was married in 1900 to Florence Childs, who preceded him in death.

He was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren church, and had been an 
employee of Stafford Manufacturing company and Hayes Body company.

Mr. Schurr had lived at his present residence 56 years.

He is survived by two nieces and one nephew.

Body will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home until Tuesday noon when it will be 
taken to the Zion EUB church where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. The 
Rev. Ray R. Fassett will officiate and interment will be at Saranac cemetery.
