Mr. Schutte died January 31 at Belding Community Hospital. Rev. Wilford Wood and Hugo Fales Post #203 of the American Legion officiated at the services. Interment was in the River Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Schutte was born April 25, 1917 in Lan’se, Michigan. He was married to Alice A. Eldridge March 6, 1954. He was retired on a disability pension. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Dads of Foreign Service and the Flat River D.A.V. No. 106. Mr. Schutte is survived by his wife Alice and one sister, Miss Louise Schutte of Flint.
