The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, February 1, 1971
Carl W. Schutte, 53, of 514 Harding, Belding, died Sunday at Belding Community 
hospital.  He had a heart condition several years.  He was born at L’Anse 
April 15, 1917 and was married March 6, 1954 to Alice Eldridge and she 
survives as does a sister, Louise Schutte of Flint.  He was a World War II 
army veteran, member of Dads Foreign service and Flat River Disabled American 
Veterans post.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in 
Belding.  Rev. Willard Wood will officiate assisted by Belding American Legion 
post.  Interment will be at River Ridge cemetery.
